Language Settings on Web
On the web, you can change the language of your account and also the language that is shown on your blog.
To change your account's language, click Settings under the account menu at the top of the dashboard (looks like a little human). Select your preferred language in the Language section.
To change your blog’s default language, click on the snowman in the upper right-hand corner of the dashboard, then on Settings, and then on your blog on the right-hand side. Scroll down until you reach the “Language” section and select the language that you would like for your blog.
Mobile App Language Settings
The language shown in your Tumblr app will be determined by your device’s language settings, regardless of the location where you have downloaded the app (Google Playstore or App Store). If you would like to change the language in your Tumblr app, you’ll have to change your device’s language settings. Tumblr currently supports the app interface (mobile and web) in the following languages:
- Chinese (Taiwan, Mainland China, and Hong Kong)
- Portuguese (Portugal, Brazil)
