All deletions on Tumblr are final - Deleted accounts or blogs cannot be restored.
Please be aware:
- Deleting your primary blog will delete the entire account.
- Accounts or blogs cannot be deactivated, paused, or made dormant.
- Your account will be removed as a member from any group blogs.
- Your secondary blog(s) with no other members will be deleted.
- Your blog name will be released, and can be used by anyone else on Tumblr.
- You can create a new account with the same email address that you used last time.
- Once a post is reblogged, that reblog becomes the property of the blog that reblogged it. While deleting your account or blog will remove your posts, it will not affect anyone else’s reblogged copies.
- Messages are shared between two accounts. Deleting your account will not automatically remove your messages from accounts that you’ve talked to.
- Likes are an activity taken by other blogs. While deleting your account or blog does remove your posts, it will not remove the Likes from another blog.
- Any custom HTML or theme code is deleted alongside the blog it was on.

Can I Restore a Deleted Account?
Since account deletion is effective immediately, deleted accounts cannot be recovered.
If you are instead looking to recover access to an existing account, please contact Support.
